| So this is my new ammo holder I made for myself. I have seen cases like this many times for centerfire rifle cartridges but I wanted one for my 22WMR. Well I thought about making one from scratch from some leather I have but it was going to be a lot of work so I was thinking about how to do it a bit easier. Well I had to run up to Home Depot to get some stuff and on the sales table was this cool case from DeWalt. It was made for holding screwdriver bits for a cordless screwdriver or drill. Well the light bulb went on, BING!, in my head and I snatch it up for a $1.18 I took it home busted out my ancient Montgomery Ward sewing machine that was my grandmother's and some extra webbing I had and the pictures that follow are what resulted. |
 CLICK TO ENLARGE So you got a box of ammo and some magazines for you Marlin 22WMR/17HMR and you want to carry it quietly and conveniently. Well this is what I came up with. There was a bight yellow DeWalt logo on the flap but I figured that would not help keeping a low profile. |

 CLICK TO ENLARGE The case will hold two 7 round magazines and 18 loose rounds. So that's a total of 32 round held at quiet ready access. |

 CLICK TO ENLARGE The back has a stitch belt loop and on top of that a Velcro open belt loop making it versatile. You can quickly put it on a belt without taking the belt off. |
